The inauguration was attended by key institutional and business representatives. We had the honor of welcoming Lehendakari Imanol Pradales, along with Álava’s General Deputy Ramiro González Vicente, Government Delegate Marisol Garmendia, Minister of Industry, Energy Transition, and Sustainability Mikel Jauregi, and Minister of Science, Universities, and Innovation Juan Ignacio Pérez Iglesias. Their presence highlights the significance of this project within the region’s scientific and technological ecosystem.

This inauguration is just the beginning of an ambitious project that will propel us to a new level of growth and development.
🔬 €100 million investment in a 15,000m² building equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories.
👩🔬 Creation of 500 highly qualified jobs.
📚 i+Med Academy, a training center to foster the next generation of scientists.
🏢 Over 19,000m² dedicated to science and innovation, with a team of 680 professionals.
Our new headquarters, located in the Álava Technology Park, will become part of the “Forest of Science”, an environment where research and sustainability coexist to drive knowledge and technological development responsibly with the environment.
A Memorable Closing to a Historic Day
The event concluded with an institutional talk in the atrium, where our Director, Manu Muñoz, and Lehendakari Imanol Pradales shared their vision of i+Med’s future and the impact of our new headquarters.
Additionally, attendees enjoyed a corporate video reflecting our growth and commitment to innovation.
To close this special day, we experienced a unique moment with a dantza performance by Maialen Bengoa and Nekane Martínez, adding a cultural and symbolic touch to this historic occasion.
