Yesterday we received a visit from Maider Etxebarria to our new facilities of i+Med, which are in the final stages of construction.

🔨 🌱 This meeting not only represents a milestone on our journey towards the inauguration of our scientific home but also underscores our commitment to our land and its community.

These new facilities represent a significant expansion of our capabilities and services, and we are proud to work hand in hand with the Basque business community. Our collaboration with local businesses strengthens our community and contributes to the economic and technological progress of our region.

🧪 This place will not only be our home but will also host the world’s first Institute of Smart Nanohydrogels Biomedicine. Internally, we will call it “Gure Etxea,” reflecting its deep significance to us.

🧑‍🔬 By mid-year, these facilities will buzz with the energy of nearly 100 scientific minds committed to the health and well-being of people, scientific innovation, and discovery. We are confident that this advancement will help retain talent and contribute to the scientific and technological progress of our community.

We are proud to share this exciting moment with our community and deeply appreciate the support of the mayor and all those who have contributed to making this scientific dream a reality. We are eager to inaugurate these facilities and continue our journey towards the future hand in hand with science and cooperation!

Thank you for being part of this exciting journey with us! 🚀 🙌
