At i+Med, we are deeply convinced that no achievement, no matter how scientifically or technologically significant, truly matters unless it is built collectively.
Our path has been guided by a clear vision: innovation is not solely the result of technical progress or laboratory development, but also of the relationships that make them possible. Every step forward is the result of collaboration, sustained commitment, and shared work among professionals who understand that excellence is only reached through cooperation.
That’s why, at i+Med, we don’t see innovation as an isolated process. Each advancement is grounded in a network of people, knowledge, and shared purpose. We don’t only celebrate outcomes, we value the journey and the people who make it possible.
The consolidation of our new facilities represents a strategic milestone. Yet we understand that infrastructure alone does not define an organization. What truly defines us is our ability to move forward together, integrating science, responsibility, and a long-term vision.
On Friday, May 23rd, we experienced a truly special day. We opened the doors of our new facilities not only as a symbol of growth, but as a gesture of appreciation to all those who, in one way or another, are part of our story: families, friends, collaborators, clients, suppliers, and institutional partners.
The event was not conceived simply to showcase our technical capabilities or our scientific infrastructure. It was designed to share our identity as an organization. At i+Med, we believe that what we do holds value, but who we are, what we represent, and what we build together with others is what truly defines us.
During the day, guests had the opportunity to explore our workspaces, see firsthand the environment where our research is carried out, and, through guided tours, observe the structural foundation that supports our cooperative innovation model.
Beyond the scientific walkthrough, the event became a true reflection of who we are as an organization: a day filled with authentic moments, where technology and human connection naturally coexisted. There was time for calm conversation, shared emotion, and genuine enjoyment. Live music, magic shows that amazed both children and adults, and a thoughtful gastronomic experience created a celebratory atmosphere. Everything was designed to say thank you to give back, in some way, a part of what we receive from those who walk alongside us.
A Model That Sets Us Apart
The cooperative character of i+Med is not a label it is our way of being in the world. Unlike vertical or purely productive models, at i+Med, innovation emerges from dialogue, from mutual respect between disciplines, and from the belief that scientific excellence can and should coexist with human values.
Yes, our team is made up of highly qualified professionals. But also of people who understand that knowledge grows in value when it is shared; that technology should serve a greater purpose; and that success is never complete unless it is built inclusively.
Looking to the Future with Responsibility
Opening this new space lays a solid foundation for growth in the coming decades. We now have cutting-edge infrastructure, state-of-the-art laboratories, and areas ready to face highly complex scientific and technological challenges.
But beyond infrastructure, what drives us is our long-term vision: to become an international benchmark in cooperative science, personalized medicine, and advanced biomedical technologies. And to do so from here, from Vitoria-Gasteiz generating development, high-quality employment, and knowledge that transcends borders.
Thank You for Being Part of This Journey
We want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who joined us on this meaningful day, to those who came in person and to those who were present in other ways. To our internal teams, for their dedication, organization, and professionalism. To our families, for their constant support. And to our partners, suppliers, and collaborators, for believing in our model.
What we experienced on May 23rd was much more than an inauguration. It was the reflection of something deeper: that i+Med is not just a research center or a biomedical company. It is a human project with scientific ambition. It is an organization that believes knowledge, to be truly transformative, must be shared, responsible, and deeply connected to people.
We continue moving forward. With more capacity, with new facilities, and with the same conviction that has brought us this far: that the future is always built collectively.
