A DISRUPTIVE MODEL
Thanks to Manu’s vision and Raúl’s passion for science, we founded i+Med, the world’s first scientists’ co-operative. i+Med’s co-operative model promotes a business model based on solid values: innovation, collaboration, quality and trust, underpinned by collective talent.
AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH
We launched our project at the Lascaray Ikergunea Research Centre at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), where we presented our approach to collaborative and advanced science. This first step opened up new opportunities for academic and scientific synergy.
2014- 2016
DRIVING GROWTH
Establishing our own laboratory and cleanroom at the Álava Technology Park marked a milestone in our journey and enabled us to grow, developing the cooperative within an innovative environment for over nine years.
SMART NANOHYDROGELS
This proprietary technology has positioned us as world leaders in the development of advanced and personalised medical solutions. Thanks to our dedication and expertise, we have developed unique projects based on smart nanohydrogels, one of our key innovations.

R&D: ADAPTEK TECHNOLOGY

2018- 2020
FINAL PHARMACEUTICAL FORMS
We research and manufacture our own pharmaceutical and healthcare products, all under the supervision of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), which guarantees their quality and safety on the global market.
GURE ETXEA. THE SCIENTISTS’ HOME
We have laid the foundation stone for our new headquarters. This milestone symbolises everything we have achieved as a co-operative and reinforces our ability to contribute to the future of science and health.

THE PILLARS OF OUR CO-OPERATIVE
With over 4,000 m² of facilities and the recruitment of 100 new, highly qualified employees, i+Med is consolidating its position as a world leader in personalised medicine and as a manufacturer of high value-added medical devices.
A COMMUNITY OF INNOVATION
i+Med has grown from a cooperative founded by two entrepreneurs into a company with over 150 employees. We focus on attracting and retaining talent, contributing to the scientific progress of our community and bringing in new minds that strengthen our collaborative approach.
